The ten-year is a fraction below 5% — and Brent has made another high
The US ten-year yield closed at 4.996% on Tuesday, four thousandths of a percentage point below five, having risen 3.5 basis points in a parallel shift across the curve. Brent settled at $108.75, its highest of this move, with WTI up 4.38%. European equities were quiet and mildly lower, energy names the exception. The one piece of better news is in semiconductors: the selling that broke Europe on Monday did not continue, and Asia has rebounded this morning with Seoul up 1.37%. — The ten-year is a fraction below 5% — and Brent has made another high
